It's been an odd few weeks in regards to the weather and it's really stunted my ability to create content for you all. That, and the sudden wave of invites to celebrate various social events, plan future escapades and generally hang out with my friends. I've been a little bit of a social butterfly lately and it's been tiring, but pretty wonderful. My best friend is marrying her soulmate in November and as Maid of Honour I've lots of dress appointments and wedding fayres to attend as well as general planning for what should be an incredible hen do! (I don't do things by halves). I've also booked a holiday to go to Spain in April to visit family along with my sister and should be booking another getaway soon with another lovely friend of mine. It's safe to say that I've been up to A LOT, so it was nice to go out and finally get some outfit pictures taken this weekend despite the frosty temperature and unpredictable gales.
The boots I bought from Primark in Autumn and the coat is a couple of years old, but the 70s vibe is still sitting strong within this years trends, so they've stuck firmly in my wardrobe. I bought the dress in the Zara sale this year having been drawn in by the intricate pattern on it and relaxed style. I'm not much of a colourful dresser, so it caught me a little off guard that I was picking something up that had various Autumnal shades entwined in it's detailing. Then again, it's not really all that bright either, baby steps and all. It's a really good dress for day wear but I've also worn it out for drinks with my friends, pairing it with black heeled boots and a leather jacket. I just love this outfit as it's relaxed, yet warm and brings a little colour to continuing bleak days.
