I've been thinking a lot about coats recently, which might have something to do with the increasingly colder mornings (the type where you refuse to get out of bed until your verging on being late) and the sudden blanket of orangey hues instead of greenery mixed with Autumn smells when you step outside. I'm not really much of a Winter person. Like, not at all. I'd rather be sunning myself in the med than face the harsh icy chill of a British Winter, but I have to admit that it does bring about a wonderful season of clothes! From chunky cable knit jumpers to fur lined parkas and who can deny a good pair of winter resistant boots! It's all about layering up to keep warm and what better way to start than to find the perfect coat?
I've had a good old browse of all the highstreet online retailers to come up with the perfect selection of coats to see you through the Autumn-Winter seasons and hopefully transition into those first few crisp weeks of Spring. It's important to find a coat that will match the rest of your wardrobe, that you feel good in and most of all keeps you warm! There's an abundance of styles to choose from on the highstreet and online at the moment. There's the influx of 70s stylings which has translated into camel wrap coats and cosy shearling numbers. Then you have your typical woolen duffle coats and capes, all fur lined of course and finally parkas, which are great for casual days paired with a giant chunky scarf and boots. A good quality coat is all you need to make the walk to work or even a day out bearable and if you make a good investment then it should last you a few years as well. The coats I've chosen are just a small part of a huge selection and there are plenty of retailers to choose from. If you don't see something you like above, have a look on their websites and I guarantee you'll find something stylish and totally you!
