Recently Purchased & Coveting - April.
Photographs and words by Me
So today I thought I would share a few things that I have recently purchased and seeing as I am trying to be better with money at the moment, you will pleased to know that they are all relatively cheap! The first product is Miracle Matte Pressed Powder by Seventeen £4.99. bought in Boots. I really like Seventeen as a brand that sells quality products at drugstore prices and this powder is no exception as it is perfect to dust lightly over your skin to mattify and set make up for the day ahead. I always pair it with the Seventeen contour kit and it leaves my skin looking matte and soft all day! Second is the Maybelline Colour Drama lip crayon in Nude Perfection £4.99, bought in Tesco. I really like lip crayons as they are easy to apply and pop in your handbag to reapply throughout the day and I particularly like this one as it is the perfect 90s nude. I found this Lacura Shimmering day cream in Aldi for £1.99 it makes your skin look luminous and smells like peaches! It's a great addition to my morning routine and for such a small price it is great for those who don't want to loosen their purse strings too much. That can also be said for PediCare +K Cracked Heel Cream, also purchased in Aldi for £2.50! I find that wearing tight shoes and socks during the winter can cause my feet to become dry and cracked and whilst doing the monthly shop I saw this product and decided to give it a go. The packaging states that you can see a difference in 2 days and this is definitely true, my feet looked and felt so much smoother in no time at all. Finally, I needed more dry shampoo and whilst Blush is my usual go to scent from Batiste, I decided to try Bloom instead £3.99 from Boots. I find that Blush can be very overbearing in smell, whereas Bloom has a fresh and light scent without the soapiness that some of the other products have. It's great for freshening up your hair during spring or plumping up your roots.
